President Nana Akufo-Addo on Sunday, March 15, 2020, ordered for the closure of schools and directed that public gatherings including all church services, Muslim gatherings, and funerals, be suspended. The president’s announcement followed the news that Ghana’s cases of Coronavirus had moved from two on Thursday to six on Sunday. But despite the ban, Pastor Nkansah-Sarkodie was spotted to have opened his church and conducted service. Information gathered by YEN.com.gh indicates that Pastor Nkansah-Sarkodie was seen inside the church which is located ta North Suntreso praying with his congregants. As the police moved, some of the church members were seen ranting and hooting at them.
