
As costs rise, Indonesian SME facilitator BukuWarung reports a net loss of $19 million in 2021.
BukuWarung, an Indonesian startup that helps micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) digitalise their businesses, reported a net loss of $19 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2021.
The high losses were on account of increased spending on digital marketing and employee benefits during the year, show regulatory filings by its Singapore-registered parent Buku Pte Ltd.
