Internet crash: MTN dashes customers 2GB data

MTN has announced a data compensation package for its customers following the undersea fibre cut that resulted in the shut down of its internet service for days.

Millions of MTN customers could access the internet for three days following the incident.

In a statement, MTN CEO Selorm Adadevoh said customers will be given a free 2GB of data which will last for two days.

“All data customers on MTN Ghana’s network will receive free 2GB data valid for two days,”  the statement said.

“MTN Ghana remains committed to its mission to make the lives of customers a whole lot brighter through continuous investments in network and technology infrastructure,” the statement added.
