Louis Vuitton leans on Abloh-designed logo to mark new sustainability ethos

It started as a Virgil Abloh creation: the classic LV monogram refashioned into a recycling symbol, signifying the use of recycled or lower-impact raw materials in Louis Vuitton products. Now, the logo dominates the design on the brand’s next sneaker, available in August and made from a corn-based leather alternative, recycled polyester and recycled polyurethane.
