You are different from your thoughts. You control what you think, what you speak and what you do. Act intentionally, stay focused.
Every time you face what might seem to be a terrible or a really difficult situation, do something different from what most people do, don’t panic and don’t react. Refuse to buy into that urge to worry, doubt and to become fearful. You will be amazed at what immediately happens to your mind and your overall emotional energy. When you face a big decision moment, don’t respond immediately with the first thing that comes to your mind. When you face a challenge at work, in business, in a social setting or at home, don’t say the first thing that comes to mind. Ask yourself two questions 1. What is the lesson in this situation? and 2. What was my role that made it happen? Don’t go into self-pity, don’t go into anger and don’t get frustrated. When you stay calm and focused, you create the opportunity for a more favourable outcome. Use your vision and values to guide what comes out of your mind. Regardless of how the situation provokes you to react, stay focused, when you do this, you generate feelings of inner peace, compassion and wellbeing. You keep your power, you become unshakeable and unstoppable. Remember, consistency is the evidence of knowing (when you know, you’ve moved beyond belief). Keep smiling at the person in the mirror
In all situations maintain a state of calmness so that you can find your way out of the darkness and into the light.
