Reflections on Adinkra Master Class ” PEOPLE”
YOU WILL MEET PEOPLE ALONG THIS AMAZING JOURNEY OF LIFE. SOME BECOME FRIENDS AND SOME BECOME FAMILY, OTHERS BECOME LESSONS. ALL THREE ARE TEACHING YOU SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF. PAY ATTENTION. BE AGILE.
Once you know deep down who you are, it is easier to know who and what you like. Nothing is strange anymore.
As you go through this journey of life you will meet at least three different types of people. 1. Those who just don’t like you. 2. Those you automatically connect with, they become a part of your outer circle, some are people you’ve met at the gym, an event or at work and 3. Those who become family, they are your inner circle. They are not necessarily family by blood, but if you’re really lucky you might have some blood family in this pool. Whatever you do guard and protect your inner circle, what you consider to be family. They are your last line of defence and they will come to your aid whenever you seriously need them. Those you connect with effortlessly in your outer circle form a part of your tribal, business and social network. You keep in touch but not regularly but they are always there for you and they also teach you. Those that don’t like you are really important, in fact they are super important because they don’t matter to you and their lives have no specific benefit to you but this is why they are super important, they help you to know that in life no matter what you think of yourself there are people who don’t think much of you, they give you balance, they give you perspective, they also keep you alert. Your job is never to react, just observe, they are teaching you a critical life lesson. In fact some blood or extended family members are in this category of people who will not like you and that’s ok. You have nothing to worry about. In our hyper connected world, there are those people you’ve never physically met but you’ve met via social media, Tik Tok, Snap, WhatsApp, Instagram or perhaps Facebook and gradually over time they’ve become a part of your circle. What they post resonates with you. They seem to speak to your soul. With all three categories, sometimes you withdraw, to reflect and to see who has moved from your outer circle to your inner circle or vice versa. Its a dynamic action, every so often you have to review and move people around in order for you to know how to relate to them. Enjoy the journey. Do not be attached but stay connected. Remember, consistency is the evidence of knowing. Keep smiling at the person in the mirror.
The more you pay attention to who you are the more you will begin to understand the people around you.
You don’t need a reason to be happy just a choice. It’s a beautiful world enjoy it. Dream. Explore. Discover. Happy Days 😇.
