Salaries for national team coaches revealed: Akonnor to receive $35,000

The government of Ghana has approved the salaries for the following men national team coaches, can confirm.

CK Akonnor has been named as the new head coach of the Black Stars for the next two years and will be deputized by David Duncan.

Following the dissolution of the technical teams for the national teams, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, Sam Boadu and Yusif Basigi have been handed the Black Queens, Male U-15 and Black Princesses coaches.

Former Black Meteors coach, Ibrahim Tanko now heads the Black Stars ‘B’ side.

The others are Yaw Preko who will take charge of the Black Satellites whiles Evans Adotey has been named as the head coach of the Black Maidens.

Black Stars Head Coach – $35,000

Assistant – $10,000

Black Stars B (Local Black Stars) Head Coach – $15,000

Assistant – $5,000

Meteors Head oach – $5,000

Assistant – $3,000

U-20 Head Coach – $2,000

Assistant – $1,500

U-17 Head Coach- $1,500

Assistant – $1,000

U15 Head Coach- $1,000

Assistant – $500
