THE DAY YOU KNOW AND TRUST YOURSELF 100% IS THE DAY YOU BEGIN TO LIVE ON YOUR OWN TERMS. THE ANSWERS TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ARE INSIDE YOU. WHAT IS OUTSIDE OF YOU THAT YOU SEEK IS TEMPORARY. WHAT IS INSIDE YOU IS PERMANENT. USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. BE AGILE.
Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
~ Carl Jung
Many look outside of themselves for guidance or direction. Are you not surprised by how much power the external world has over us and how little and insignificant we perceive ourselves to be in comparison to everything that’s happening around us. When you identify yourself with your physical form, taking your value and sense of worth from outside yourself – your job, age, physical appearance, your family and friends, your material possessions, your accomplishments, and so on, you can’t help but feel some sort of fear when the security of all the things you cling to is threatened. When you rely on something transitory to bring you joy and fulfillment, and when your sense of identity comes from something that is bound to change, how can you not feel afraid. Even though the world tries to convince you that it knows what’s best for you, constantly telling you where to look for love, for meaning, for happiness and fulfillment; wanting you to chase a mirage for the rest of your life, the truth of the matter is that if you stop looking without and start looking within, you will eventually discover that all the answers to your questions are within yourself. Within, not without! Remember, consistency is the evidence of belief. Keep smiling at the person in the mirror.
If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never truly be fulfilled. If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself. Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
~ Lao Tzu
