William Ofori, Former AstraZeneca Regional Director, Joins MinoHealth AI Labs as Senior Advisor

MinoHealth AI Labs, a company that works on artificial intelligence for health, has recently appointed Mr. William Delali Ofori as Senior Advisor – Strategy and Business Development and Advisory Board Member. This announcement comes as MinoHealth AI Labs aims to expand its operations in Ghana and across the African continent.

Mr. Ofori is a well-known personality in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in Ghana, with almost 30 years of experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies. He has held several senior roles in the industry, including serving as a regional director for West Africa at AstraZeneca and being a member of the sub-Saharan Africa senior leadership team in the same organization. Mr. Ofori left AstraZeneca in October 2020 to start Chiron Health Consult, where he currently works as the lead consultant.

Mr Ofori said “I’m really excited about being a part this exciting journey. minoHealth AI Labs is the future happening today. The goal is to use technology to transform healthcare outcomes and we hope to leave positive footprints on all continents.”

Mr. Ofori’s executive management and leadership experience in the healthcare industry spans from deep insight in product lifecycle management, through sale and marketing, strategy, go-to-market, market dynamics, organizational restructuring to stakeholder mapping and product launches. Over the years, he has gained deep insights and experience in many aspects of the pharma and healthcare industry ranging from policy, through regulatory to corporate governance and management. He has undertaken projects in Sub-Saharan Africa with entities like McKinsey and Accenture during some major restructuring and deep dive projects on the African continent.
